Twickenton Dog & Cat Grooming has been in business in Dedham, MA for almost 60 years! In this location, and under the present ownership, we have expanded twice in the past 36 years to serve you and your pet in the most comfortable and up to date fashion.
Our mission is to provide you with service that meets your needs and exceeds your expectations.
Our staff consists of several educated pet stylists. Some have been with us for over 25 years. Continuing Education courses are available to our staff at least twice each year.
Our shampoo products are environmentally and pet safe. Our shampoo staff of three has also been with us for many years.
Our stylists are well qualified to offer top quality professional grooming for virtually any breed of dog or cat. Personal requests for grooming variations are always welcome and will be carefully noted on your pet’s information card to assure continue grooming to your preferences.

Great first experience. Had our two cats groomed and shaved and our two dogs groomed. Everyone looked great and seemed very well taken care of. I have two dogs who have been visiting Twickenton for several years. Before I found Twickenton, we struggled to find anyone who could groom them. One of my dogs is quite difficult, and can be nippy when being groomed. Sue’s patience and kindness are incredible, and all of the ladies at Twickenton have been wonderful. The groomers at Twickenton are honestly amazing. After a few very bad experiences with groomers, I was hesitant to try a new one - but I am SO glad I did. Reminiscing a 2017 visit to Twickenton Dog & Cat Grooming with our Golden Retriever. He is currenlty in need of a grooming and we were sitting here all in agreement that the best grooming we have ever experienced was at Twickenton! Twickenton's have groomed our three standard poodles for over 15 years. They not only do a fabulous job, but they have loved all our dogs too. The dogs look absolutely beautiful. I was happy about my experience with Twickenton the other day. Since my cat was once rescued from a feral colony, then spent a few years in the shy and fearful cats program at the Gifford Cat Shelter, I was nervous about how it would go since she doesn't like to go in the cat carrier. The lady who took care of her was very nice and kept her calm. She definitely needed to be groomed and she came out looking, and probably feeling, a lot better.
